Announcement on Planning to Change the Company’s
         Name and Stock Abbreviations

 The Company and all members of its Board of Directors confirm that all the
 information disclosed herein is true, accurate, and complete with no false or
 misleading statement or material omission.



1.   Overview

     As the final milestone in the combination of Adama Agricultural Solutions Ltd.
     and the Company, and to demonstrate the two companies coming together under
     ADAMA, the Hebrew word for "earth" or "soil", as a single global brand reflecting
     the Company’s farmer-centric focus and its commitment to advancing agriculture
     in markets around the world, the Board of Directors approved the change of the
     Company’s name and stock abbreviations as follows:

The State Administration for Market Regulation approved the name change of the
Company, and the 9th meeting of the 8th session of the Board of Directors approved the
change of the Company name and the stock abbreviations for shareholders’ approval.
The new Company name shall be further subject to the registration in the
Administration of Industry and Commerce, and the new stock abbreviations shall be
further subject to the approval of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

The stock code of the Company will not be changed and will remain 000553(200553).


2.   Reason for the Change of the Company Name and Stock Abbreviations

As stated above, the name change is the final milestone in the combination of Adama
Agricultural Solutions Ltd. and the Company, and is to demonstrate the two companies
coming together under ADAMA, as a single global brand reflecting the Company’s
farmer-centric focus and its commitment to advancing agriculture in markets around
the world.

3. Other Matters
The independent directors reviewed the proposal on the change of the Company name
and stock abbreviations. The independent directors are of the opinion that:
(1) The change unifies the name of the enterprises within the group and is in line with
    the factual situation of the Company. The change will benefit the business
    development of the Company.
(2) The Board of Directors has approved the submission of the change for the approval
    of shareholders. The procedures for the change are in accordance with the No. 11
    Memorandum on Information Disclosure of Main Board Company (Company
    Name Change). The change meets the Company’s fundamental interests and will
    not harm the interests of shareholders.
Therefore, the independent directors approve the matter of name change and stock
abbreviation change, and agree to submit it for shareholders’ approval.
